Today was his 3mth-4mth assessmental screening. Everything seems normal. Ryan vomited a total of 4 times for the past month. He also cough and gagged pretty often lately...
Last week I brought him to neighbourhood PD. But no medication was administered. I told Dr Ng about his symptoms. He gave Ryan anti-vomit & phelgm medication. Dr Ng mentioned that cause of vomit is probably Ryan trying to cough out the phelgm. Therefore he wanted me to observe further to see if any bile is being vomited out in future.
3rd month updates:
Length - 62cm *no growth from previous month*
Weight - 7.15kg
Head Circumference - 40.5cm
He's on the 90th percentile for his age... Good... It goes to show that babies can thrive on breastmilk as well as formula milk...
It rules out the myth that breastmilk fed babies are scrawny.
Pet, this rotarix is his 1st dose or 2nd dose ?
ReplyDeletePoor Ryan..hope he recovers fast
ReplyDelete2nd rotarix dose. 1st dose was together with the first 5-in-1 jab. next month i'm giving him the 1st P jab.
