I'm working on baking Ryan's birthday cake this year... Not too successful as I'm so poor at decorating the cake.
I can't possibly ask the guests to eat plain cupcake? Hehe

So i've decided to make the cake for Ryan to eat alone - No icing :)

Losing Good Friends

  I am feeling down today...  So i thought of blogging my thoughts & feelings.

I do not know since when I have gradually began losing friends...  Mummy friends, soulmates...

Since the day I knew I was pregnant, I was totally engrossed in the needs of Ryan.  I found new friends from the forum who are also delivering in the same month as me.  We were chatting daily via the singapore motherhood forum, exchanging views and ideas on how to deal with pregnancy & newborn baby.

As months passes by, I realised that that are alot of gossips going on in the forum.  Whether it's about this particular mummy's attitude or that particular mummy's character...  And there I thought women gossiping was a natural thing to do... How silly of me  

I thought the forum was a place for people to discuss about things like child-bearing...  Never knew it has become a place where we are being selected / qualify to be friends or not.  Worse of all, I do not know since when I became an outcast.. Perhaps I have offended some people with my way of speech...

As i became obsessed with Ryan,  I did not realise that I have drifted apart from other close friends...  They were so supportive and helpful.  But yet, I have forgotten all about them.  No, I have actually not forgotten about them.  It's just that I do not know what common topics we can chat about.  Perhaps it's all my fault for being over obssessed with Ryan that I have forgotten how to be a friend.

I have to learn how to multi-task.  Learning how to be a friend & a mother & a wife all at the same time.  Not abandoning either role.

Now, talking about being a wife...  Seems, my hubby have lost his soulmate - me.  How do I learn multi-tasking?

Toys for Rental

Ryan has loads of toys that he doesn't play with.  Some are totally brand new, some are preloved.
So mummy thought of renting them out cheaply to recover some cost.

So we haven't had any opportunity to measure his length or weight.

I weighed myself then carried Ryan and weigh together.

Ryan is weighing 9.5kg @ 10months & 3weeks & 2days old.
