Feel very guilty... Ryan just vomited all 200ml of formula milk after 5minutes of drinking it.
I was worried that I didn't have enough breast milk for Ryan. Since he already drank from both sides and he still refused to sleep, asking for more milk.
So I asked if he would like to have pediasure instead since Mummy's milk isn't making him full.
He agreed, so I made him a sachet. He finished the entire bottle without whining. I really thought he was hungry since he ate quite little during dinner.
Apparently the experiment of feeding formula milk before bedtime isn't working. Breast milk should be sufficient. He probably wants to nurse for comfort.
Not sure if anyone can answer my question: I do not feel any engorgement even after 10hours. I am doubting my ability in satisfying Ryan's tummy. Any help?
since ryan is more than 2yrs old, i think he doesnt need to drink before bed. but some warm milk, should make him easier to go to bed?
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to stop bedtime latch on for Jade. Tried to give her formula milk and she reject. she rather i carry her to sleep and sip some water.
did u try to express out the milk?
Ryan is used to drinking before bedtime. He has milk 3 times a day. Morning, after naptime & Bedtime.
ReplyDeleteHe smells me. How to carry him to slp w/o latching?
I'll let him drink his fill then make him go to his bed while I pat him to sleep.
Seems like both our precious are direct breastmilk latch on addict. My girl cried like mad when I tried to skip her night feed on fri night. Hiaz.
