Mummy is very sorry to put you through bottle... I've been in my bedroom hearing you scream and yell and cry till you choke and vomit.. I am very sorry to put you through 1hour of torturous crying.
I tried to rescue you from your nai nai. But she refuse to let me have you... She say she wants to carry on trying...
I am near tears as I hear you cry and cry... I sincerely hope you'll forgive me for letting your nai nai try.. I should have been there for you. I should have let your doting daddy try instead of her...
Please don't hate me. Mummy need to go back to work when u reach 6mths as this is the maximum no. of months your daddy is allowing me to stay at home to look after you.
Mummy want to stay by your side all day. But financial circumstances do not allow that to happen. Though I can give up all monetary pleasures, your daddy cannot. I am trying my best to love and care for you. Hope you understand our situation.

aiyoh ur MIL so persistent? i think there are better ways than using 'brute force' on your baby, and if it's defrost ebm cannot be used after 30mins (if u r strict).
ReplyDeletein general it takes a few weeks for baby who reject bottles to start accepting them. i would sit down with my mil to work out alternatives to intro bottles.
i did.. that's y i wanted her to stop after 15mins.. she wanted to persist. so i went to hide. fed him twice after the ordeal.. after first time, he vomited. second time, he nursed to sleep.
ReplyDeletevomit prob cos the teat is too near his throat.. try giving him on the bed, sideways.. if u nurse him side by side before, think might work..

ReplyDeletejasmine, i told her.. she dunno how to feed. sometimes milk nv fill the teats. then let ryan suckle air.. she also can't rem which side to face upwards. cause it's nuk teats.

fei, i am.. try. but everytime i try, i waste the milk in the bottle as he'll suck once n reject totally. then i'll latch. so the milk in the bottle muz throw.. if this carries on, i'll use up all my back up supplies..
ReplyDeleteHey, I totally understand ur plight and the sad feeling of leaving him with someone else while you need to go work. I was like you when I first went back to work after 3 months of confinement... Slowly take ur time, you will get used to it..... work hard together ok, heehee!!!!
