Happy Birthday to Mummy

Lousy morning with heavy rains that spoil Daddy & Mummy's plans to bring me to sentosa for an outing...

Great afternoon because I finally get to latch on mummy!!
We went out to burn daddy's wallet! Hahaha
Daddy bought Mummy a pair of diamond earrings... Ate in Ding Tai Fung @ Wisma Atria.
Bought more toys for me, they ate MOS burger for dinner.  I almost managed to eat my mom's hotdog bun... Hmph!

Horrible Evening because a super huge cockroach was hiding behind a pillow.  It wasn't there yesterday!  Mummy screamed, frozen, stuck on the floor.   I was happily chewing my teether, not knowing what was happening actually.

End up Nainai passed me to Daddy to bring to the room while Mummy & Nainai went on searching for the sickening roach.
Mummy turned the living room upside down and did not find the roach.  Nainai couldn't care less, so she went to bed.

Mummy mopped the entire living room to ensure no area is left unclean.  After that, mummy told daddy that she can't find the roach.  Daddy then took over the search while Mummy took care of me.

Mummy, being a perfectionist, she had to supervise the "death" of the roach...  She surrounded me with a wall of pillows while standing at the entrance of the bedroom, hoping to split both eyes for one room each eye.. Haha

Then, I decided to go on my fours to assist in the search... Thump!  I fell on the floor together with the wall of pillows...

Mummy came in, saw the pillows beside me on the floor, bawling away.. more of a pain cry..
She hugged me, i remained crying because of pain.  Then I latch on.  Hmm, the pain seems to have dissipated quickly..

I remained cheerful and playful.  Forgotten all about the fall.

It's ok, mummy, I dun blame u.. Love Ya still.

After that, we blow candles and cut mummy's birthday cake..

Another Troublesome Hospitalisation

Haiz... Mummy is so troublesome...
Sunday, we went to Aunt Kathy & Uncle John's wedding, Mummy came home with high fever...
Monday, Nainai took care of me the entire day except Nainai will pass me to Mummy whenever it's milktime.

Then mummy complained of immense stomach pain and headache...  but nainai dunno what to do.  And mummy is too groggy to decide what to do...  Therefore nainai cooked porridge for mummy while I waited patiently in my leapfrog.

Daddy finally came home around 7.30pm.  By then mummy already almost concussed in pain.  Daddy had to help mummy to the clinic downstairs our house.  But the doctor there diagnose mummy to have acute appendicitis.  So he wrote a referral letter to a friend of his at Mt Elizabeth hospital for a more detail check up.

Since I am so attached to mummy, daddy had to drag me along as an additional luggage.. Hahaha

Blah Blah... Blah Blah... Blah Blah...

Mummy ended up in a single-bedded with an additional cot of me.  Mummy had to go through so many blood tests.  But the doctor didn't order all tests at a single time.  Therefore the nurses pricked mummy a total of 5times. *Including times where they fail to draw any blood from the prick*

Ouch!

Mummy went for a CT Scan where she had to drink an oral contrast to enhance the stomach features and an intravenous contrast material to enhance the blood vessels for a better scan.
So, i was urgently bottle trained since the contrast material was damaging to my small built for the next 48 hours.

Mummy fed me with her frozen EBM.  Daddy was afraid that there wasn't enough milk for me, he went to buy DUMEX Stage 2 with immunofortis.  Woah, it costs $27 for just 700g!!

So expensive, hmm, i'll rather drink fresh from the milkcow on a daily basis...

Here is the beginning of bottle war again...  From 9am - 4pm, I cried myself to sleep because I don't believe mummy refuse to latch me on.
After being soooo hungry, I decided to drink alittle... Just enough to avoid myself being hungry. 25mls will do the trick.

By Thursday, I was 100% bottle trained...  Every 2 hours, I drank 50-100mls of dumex. Depending on my mood and temp of milk.

Mummy's frozen EBM was kept away from me until thursday evening because I already wasted a few bottles of it initially while battling with mummy & daddy on wednesday afternoon.

I'll hold on to bottles until Friday noon... Mummy promised me that she can latch me on by then.

Hospital's medela latina pump is wonderful... It helped mummy achieve her never before achieved letdown at every pumping session... Waigong & Waipo was comtemplating on buying it but mummy say it's too costly.

Upon mummy's discharged on thursday afternoon, Aunt Jasmine lent mummy her medela PIS Advanced so that mummy can keep her ss up while I cannot feed off her.

It works!!  Slightly noiser than Latina Plus... But works just as well.

Daddy wants to buy this PIS instead.  Then Daddy & Mummy can have back their couple time.  I'll be a good boy and let Nainai feed me whenever necessary...

Blessing in disguise...  Though I hate to be on bottles STILL... I'll use them after abit of struggling.  Afterall, it's mummy's milk right? Hehe

Fingers down for now... I wanna feed!!

Happy Wedding Anniversary

Dear hubby, happy wedding anniversary...

Lots to thank you for.  The most recent I remember was last night...

During Kathy's wedding dinner, I fell ill.  When we got home, you took care of Ryan while I rested, changing my kool gel every 5hours.  Taking my temperature every 2 hours... Though you had to work today, you did not sleep much.  You were up most of the night getting me cold plain water, waking me up to drink so as to lower my temperature.

Finally, when morning came, my fever broke...  I was still rather groggy, I do not actually remember what happened... I only remembered sleeping after you went to work.  When I woke up @ 10am, your mom told me that you sent flowers to me as a gift...

Aww, it was very sweet of you...  Nice surprise, but a costly one.  I love the flowers, it's a unique bouquet with many different exotic flowers...

It's been a long time since I received flowers from you.. Hehe.  I love ya.

Ryan's Weird Sleeping Position

Hehe, I was busy with my chores when I heard Ryan making the "eh eh" sound... Seems like he's about to wake up for feed.
Then I after I went to check on him, I found him in this position... Hm, how to sleep? Not uncomfortable mah?

I was so tempted to move him back to his tummy position. But that will risk waking a wailing baby... So I decided to leave him as he is. :-)

Alrighty, I'll just stick around to film more of Ryan's farni movements... Hehe

Ryan's well now :)

Yesterday, I found some red patches on his inner thighs.  Both legs... I applied some Himalayas Baby Body Cream on him - once at night, once this morning.  Then, I checked again in the afternoon, it has all disappeared.

Why? I do not know... It looked like fungal infection. It also looked like mosquito bites.  Some even said it might be allergy.  Anyways, I'm glad it's gone for good... Although I did not managed to find out what was the ultimate reason for the red patches...

I hope that was the end of the dramatic week... With Ryan falling ill last Wednesday, recovered on Saturday to his daddy falling ill on Thursday, recovered yesterday to Ryan being all patchy out of a sudden...
Such a stressful week... Finally it's all over...

Another stressful week is coming up soon, my annual TKA exam is next tuesday... My license renewal is reliant on the outcome of my test results...  I better pass.
Haiz, how to celebrate my wedding anniversary in peace when my important exam is on the following day?

Anyway, after that, i'm looking forward to a three-day enjoyment holiday with Ryan and Hubby to celebrate belated wedding anniversary & my birthday...

I've already gotten my anniversary & birthday pressie though... I'm trying my very best not to use it yet. Haha, not too successful... I'm yearning to open it up already...

It's not too expensive... Hubby's initial pressie idea was a coach bag which i rejected outright.  Pointless, in my opinion... All I need is a nice looking bag to add to my wide collection of bags for clothes matching purpose... Hmm, I should I have gotten more in quantity since I already know hubby's intended budget...
Nah! I've gonna save the money for our darling Ryan instead...  Nowadays, PDs are getting richer and richer and Parents are getting poorer and poorer... Haha

Enuff for now... I'll probably need to crack my brains on the gift idea for my hubby in my dreams now...
